Estimated Costs

Gobi Mission is a non-profit organization and tries to
keep travel and other missions expenses reasonable,
affordable, yet safe and fairly comfortable.

We are able to do this through long association with
four Mongolian provinces, their leaders, and a network
of great people in Mongolia.

All Mission Trip Costs from Ulaanbaatar
Visas and travel to-from Mongolia not included
Mission  Middle Gobi, $800 per person (assumes arrival in Ulaanbaatar).
Travel By Russian Jeep

Mission East Gobi, $900 per person.
Travel By Trans-Siberian Train and Russian Jeep

Mission South Gobi, $1100 per person.

All Mission Trips About 10-12 Days, Including Ulaanbaatar Arrival and
Departure.

These costs include in-country transport, meals, lodging, drivers and translators,
gratuities and payment of Mongolian support personnel while on the Mission inside
Mongolia. It does not include personal insurance (if desired).  Approximately 10 percent
is allocated to administrative expenses -- lots of work on the part of our Mongolian
colleagues.

Accommodations in the Gobi are adequate and reasonably comfortable -- but please do
not expect tourist class hotels -- as there are none where we serve.
