Horuul was born blind and has cerebral palsy. He was
abandoned as a young child and taken in by the Mongolian
National Kindergarten for Homeless Children, a boarding school
for children from very poor families, or no families at all. The
kindergarten is run by some of the most dedicated friends you
will ever meet.

When Horuul "aged out' of kindergarten, he was sent to the
Primary School for Homeless Children, and was given a private
care-giver, a student helper (himself homeless), and a small
room.

Following one year of excellent care he was removed from
the primary school and sent to the psychiatric hospital,
which housed adult recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.

His condition, along with other children housed there, has
deteriorated -- dramatically -- and he is kept under heavy
medication.

Hence came the idea of a camp for handicapped and homeless
children -- which we are trying to set up just south of Ulaanbaatar
in the Northern Gobi. Land already has been donated for this
purpose by a former Mongolian governor, along with some use of
his buildings. This camp is located on a large sheep and horse
ranch.

We therefore seek your prayers and your support -- and your
ideas. These children can lead productive lives if given a decent
chance -- and that chance may be you, your church, or your
friends.

Will you pray about this?

Horuul has cerebral palsy and is homeless as well. By
God's grace, and through good care during
kindergarten years, Horuul came to see moving objects
(not clearly) and can even say a few simple words. He
still remains very ill, and we are trying to find the very
best place for him and and others.
